Become a PTB Agent!

As many of you know, I, the creator of Places to be in the OV, have moved to another state and cannot keep up the website and/or Facebook page like I used to. Therefore, I am offering you, Ohio Valley locals, the opportunity to help spread the word about the Places in the OV where others can go for fun. It's a low level of commitment - we would connect on Facebook and then I would give you the ability to post as the PTB page, sharing information with other locals whenever you can/think of it. If you are interested, please send me a Facebook message via the PTB page or an email to placestobeintheov@gmail.com.
Thank you!

Spring in the Ohio Valley by Daniel Caron

Spring is a great time to start watching for butterflies in the valley. Even with dry conditions there are plenty of flowers blooming. Flower patches are good places to watch for butterflies. Look closely on the sides of country roads, in your early flower garden or on flowering bushes, such as Lilacs. Many spring butterflies will rest on vegetation in the morning hours, trying to catch warming rays of sunshine. Butterflies add a little more color to our spring.
